Are you feeling mentally and physically exhausted? Academically strained? Socially over it? The pandemic is bringing a lot of new feelings for all of us and you may be experiencing burnout. Join the Rotaract Club for a special workshop/lecture with Professor Ibrahim Al-Marashi on the topic of burnout. This event takes place as part of the "Mental Health Day" of Student Government's 2020 Social Awareness Week.

Al-Marashi is an Associate Professor of history at California State University San Marcos. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Oxford, completing a thesis on the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, part of which was plagiarized by the British government in the lead up to the 2003 Iraq War. He is co-author of Iraq’s Armed Forces: An Analytical History (Routledge, 2008), The Modern History of Iraq (Routledge 2016), and A Concise History of the Middle East (Routledge 2018). Al-Marashi brings his extensive knowledge on history to life through story telling and references to contemporary videos and of course memes.
