WiB invites you to join us for a guest lecture and discussion on the ethics of photo manipulation as part of the Student Government’s Social Awareness Week. Guest speaker Charles Kushner will take you on his personal journey and experience setting beauty standards through his work with photoshop in the beauty industry. With reflections on personal and industry responsibilities, we are expecting a heated discussion. To what extent can we hold the industry, the individual actors, the consumers accountable? Who is it deciding what is beautiful? We will soon find out

Speakers

Charles Kushner

Kushner has experience working worldwide in both the private and public sector in various sectors of marketing and production. He earned his Master's in Corporate and Marketing Communication from IE's School of Human Sciences and Technology and has experience working with Digital Photo Manipulation.
