Welcome to the Global Transformation Club! IE surrounds us with individuals from all over the world – students, faculty, and alumni. We are fortunate enough to have a front row seat on the stage of globalisation and want to give our members a chance to make the most of that opportunity. The Global Transformation Club aims to combine the most important aspects of a constantly innovating and changing global world with a chance to debate and understand these between our members.
The Global Transformation Club has three types of structures that it offers to students:
- Conferences & Panel Discussions: Learn directly from different speakers in a practical and active manner about the importance of international relations and global governance, the changing world of public affairs, and the relevant subjects of our changing world.
- Debates: A question will be posed to students that will then be debated in a moderated caucus. This gives our students a chance to develop their debating skills with a focus on international relations and public affairs, as well as partaking in active discussions of relevant and thought-provoking topics.
- Podcasts: We will be launching an exciting new podcast platform, in which current topics and news from around the world relating to the foreign affairs will be discussed. Students have the chance to submit ideas and be invited as a guest speaker to discuss relevant topics with our moderators.
