The Big Data & AI Club and TechIE partnered with IBM to present a challenge for both the techies and the tech curious! With the team of IBM mentors, you will learn how to use IBM Cloud technologies, such as IBM Watson to tackle even the most serious challenges that we are facing today as a society. 

Beginners are welcome! Both TechIE and IBM mentor team will be here to help and guide you
 

Challenge: How could we leverage Watson Assistant on the IBM Cloud to support the way we engage, connect or communicate with people during such challenging times?  

1.    How could we provide great treatment and advise for patients that need it the most? How could we support health care professionals on their heroic job? (Health & Mental Health)
2.    How could we become more sustainable and fight back against climate change? (Climate Change and Sustainability)
3.    How could we deliver a great experience for tourists and life-enjoyers while keeping safety at the forefront?  (Industry & Tourism)

But you can also bring forward your own use case, New Normal or something you are very passionate about! Think about all the challenges that we faced in the past two years.

Teams: Up to 4 people per team
Grading: Problem Statement (20%), Solution & Benefits (40%), Watson Assistant Prototype (40%)

•    Session at IBM Garage or a virtual visit and a workshop and IBM Watson Center in Munich for the Winner and Runner Up

•    Pitch & Prototype Submission
