From the 4th of May until the 7th, we will be hosting multiple events and activities, led by the current IE Technology clubs:

with the support of other clubs and departments such as Design Thinking, Ethics and Compliance, the Student Government, Campus Life and Talent & Careers.
On the 8th of May, we will have our annual flagship conference. The events during the week will be based on our 5 pillars for this year:

4. New Money, New World
5. Odds & Ends
This year, we will also be adding the following initiatives to the agenda so you can participate and win some really cool prizes:

4. The Virtual Talent Forum
The prizes of these initiatives will be handed on the 8th of May at the conference.
Through this student-led event, and as every year, we hope to be able to educate, inspire and challenge the status quo. We believe innovation and technology is the backbone of our day to day lives, and we invite you to dive into it during this week.

David Orgaz Díaz, experienced Thermal Engineer and entrepreneur. He's completely dedicated to his professional adventure: his own engineering company. During the last years, he has been working on one of the most advanced technology sectors: the space industry. The opportunity to analyze and to design satellites from the thermal point of view gives me a wide perspective of the thermal problems.

The IE Big Data & AI Club and IE Fintech Club are excited to present TechIE's World of Crypto event on Thursday May 6th.
Cryptocurrencies have had an incredible year and are seeing widespread adoption, but they are often misunderstood with their futures posing many questions.
How is cryptocurrency reshaping our financial system? What issues are new and innovative companies looking to tackle? What are future risks?
1. Diego D'Aquilio: CMO and Head of International Expansion at Young Platform, a crypto exchange where investors can easily buy, sell and convert bitcoin and altcoins at low fees.
2. Michael Gord: Co-Founder and CEO of GDA Capital and Managing Director at XDB Foundation. GDA Capital Global Digital Assets provides institutions with exposure to its premier network of cutting-edge blockchain technology companies, whereas XDB Foundation is a non-profit supporting the innovation and adoption of the DigitalBits blockchain and the use of cryptocurrency.
3. Jean-Marc BonnefousL Jean-Marc teaches cryptoassets and blockchain at IE, and is also a Managing Partner for Tellurian Capital in London. He will be both moderating, and sharing his insights into the rapidly evolving industry.

When disasters strike, Design Thinking can empower people to create their own cutting-edge disaster solutions.
Alberto Levy will lead a workshop in which participants will go through a three-step design process, starting with a narrative about who and what you're solving for, then reframing a centered task statement, and finally building out a concept to prototype in small, networked teams.

There have long been debates on how to reconcile the growth of AI with humanity. What is the solution for it? Should tech growth be restricted? Should the ways it grows be restricted? What do you prpopse?

Challenge: How could we leverage Watson Assistant on the IBM Cloud to support the way we engage, connect or communicate with people during such challenging times?
1. How could we provide great treatment and advise for patients that need it the most? How could we support health care professionals on their heroic job? (Health & Mental Health)
