Details

Taking examples from everyday life, from activist groups, institutions and individuals, this talk will present some useful tools to be able to talk about gender issues. The aim is to critically analyse situations where gender may be the motive of stereotyping or of discriminatory attitudes. Gender identity is in essence a subjective experience that may seem difficult to identify or name, in oneself and in others. We welcome an open-minded discussion on topics such as the so-called new masculinity, feminisms, LGBTQ+, and transgender.
