An occasion to meet with Top Executive Search Firms in Madrid and network with Alumni from all MBACSWP School members
IE Business School and Columbia Business School, Alumni Clubs, Madrid Chapter, are pleased to invite Alumni from member Schools of the MBACSWP to an Executive Search Panel followed by a cocktail at IE Business School on Thursday, April 14th.
The panel will be moderated by Luis Truchado, partner at Odgers Berndtson, Madrid office, with the participation of prominent executive search consultants. The guest speakers will present an overview of the industry and current trends, as well as provide insights and advice on how to effectively gain visibility within the executive search community.

Speakers’ biographies:
Luis Truchado, Partner – Odgers Berndtson
Luis Truchado started his career in executive search in 1992 when he founded EuroGalenus in Madrid. Since 2015, he is partner at Odgers Berndtson Iberia for the Life Sciences and Healthcare Practice. Luis’s activity reflects his deep experience in the fields of life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, etc. Many of his assignments have been international, and he works seamlessly in other European markets. Since 1994 he is a member of the AESC and has served on the Global Board and European Council for several years
Luis has a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. He also holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School and is also an alumnus of the CSEP at Columbia Business School.
Miguel Zuil, Partner – Boyden
Miguel is a key member of the board search, professional services, human resources, life sciences & healthcare teams.
Miguel's business experience prior to joining the search industry includes participation in several deals in technology and consumer goods markets with Cazenove. He also worked for AUCHAN, Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts and COLT Telecom, as part of the senior management team.
Miguel has a law degree from University Complutense at Madrid and a graduate degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
Ramón Gómez de Olea, Country Head & Partner – Russell Reynolds
Ramón Gómez de Olea is the firm's Country Manager for Spain. He specializes in domestic and international senior executive searches with a particular focus on the technology, industrial and energy sectors.
He is responsible regionally for developing and executing major assessments in private equity acquisitions, PMI processes in large mergers and CEO succession plans for global corporations. Ramón has mainly conducted assessment projects in the financial services, industry and telecommunications sectors across Europe, USA and Latin America.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds, he worked at BCG and Elecnor.
Ramón received his M.S. in mechanical engineering from ICAI Engineering School and his M.B.A. from the Wharton Business School and an M.A. from the School of Arts and Sciences (University of Pennsylvania).
Juan Díaz-Andreu, Principal – Talengo
Juan is Principal at Talengo, Executive Search Consultancy. He specializes in Education, HW, SW, IT Consulting, Telecom, Media, Internet, Private Equity and Venture Capital.
Prior to joining the Executive search industry, Juan worked at Amadeus, Banco Santander and Repsol.
Juan is the President of the J.W. Fulbright Alumni Association of Spain and of www.RyderClubSpain.com. He is also a member of the Board of UCLA Anderson Alumni Network of Spain and Cunef Alumni and a member of MIT Enterprise Forum Advisory Board.
Juan is also an Adjunct Professor at IE in Entrepreneurship and Career Management.
