At Mirae, he is part of a global venture investment team that manages funds worth $1.5B. His investments at Mirae include, Ola, Bigbasket, ZoloStays, Shadowfax. Prior to Mirae, he was involved with Kalaari ($650M Venture Fund) & Mumbai Angels (India’s largest angel network) where he was actively involved in sourcing new opportunities and helping existing portfolio companies.
Before Mumbai Angels, he started his career with focus on BFSI and front trading technology platforms with MCX & FT Group. There he worked with product teams for the earliest web-based and mobile based front end trading applications in India.
He received his MBA from IE Business School, Spain. He did his Bachelors of Engineering (IT) from Mumbai University. Ashish is originally from Mumbai, India.
