Every hour should be Happy Hour!

Join us in the Cocktail hour for a Networking session. Our friends from La Santoria (Calle de Lope de Vega, 30, 28014 Madrid) have prepared us a simple cocktail for you to make at home while networking with other attendees and our amazing speakers. 

HOME GIMLET

  • Slice the cucumber and the ginger and pour it into the shaker (3 or 4 slices)
  • Add 1 shot glass of fresh lemon juice
  • Add 1 shot glass of sugar syrup
  • For the base alcohol, you can use gin, whiskey, rum, vodka, tequila, add 2 shot glasses
  • Add ice (a lot) and shake it 
  • Filter and serve in a glass, and perfume it with the lemon zest

Isabela Alcázar is the Global Head of Sustainability at IE will be in charge of the opening ceremony of the Conference. She is in charge of evaluating the impact IE has on the environment and society, as well as fostering diversity and intercultural understanding, respect, tolerance and ethic global citizenship. She also belongs to the Women Action Sustainability (WAS) NGO, which strives to elevate sustainability to the first strategic level in companies, institutions and society in general. 

Additionally, in the opening each of the four panels will be introduced, as well as our Keynote Speaker from Amazon and from IBM and sponsors.

The closing part of the event will be a special opportunity for networking with the speakers of the Conference. The closing will start off with a Kahoot! on a couple of questions about the conference, where 5 winners will receive a 5€ Deliveroo code to order ingredients for the creation of a drink for the cocktail hour or a pre-made drink. A video of a bartender from the bar “La Santoría” in Madrid will also be shared, where he will walk you through the making of the drink to enjoy during the cocktail hour. 

During this half an hour, different breakout rooms will be assigned to participants for Q&A with the speakers, as an opportunity to be in closer contact with them and deepen in any of the matters you found particularly interesting during the Conference.
