Search Fund is the new investing model that is enabling MBAs in the world to search, acquire and operate a private company with the purpose of growing its value and generate a return for the fund.

After the interest shown by club members into the model we are glad to announce the next event about search funds with a guest coming to IE from Latin America: Esteban Kallay of Patagonia Capital Partners.

Esteban Kallay is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Patagonia Capital Partners, a search fund launched in Argentina in July 2017 and focused on companies with annual revenue between $5 and $30 million. Esteban holds an MBA at MIT Sloan and prior to Patagonia Capital Partners, worked as an MBA Summer Intern at Latin American Partners, a Washington DC-based private equity firm. Esteban also served as an Associate at Hermes Management Consulting, advising companies and private equity funds across Latin America.

Esteban will share his insights about the challenges and thrill of lunching a search fund in Latin America and the peculiarities of the search in Argentina.

The event will be held on November 16th between 16:00 and 17:00 in room V-001 in Velazquez 130.

We are very excited about having Patagonia Capital Partners in Madrid and encourage you to register as quickly as you can!
