Incorporating blockchain into the development of smart cities will make it possible to have a transversal platform that connects the cities’ different services, with added transparency and security to all processes.

More than 50% of the global population currently lives in cities -- a percentage that is expected to surpass 70% in thirty years. While cities are the bulk of countries’ economies and wellbeing, they are also the center of attention for administrative, organizational, logistical, social and environmental problems.

Moving towards decentralization, we become critical thinkers by reconsidering how cities ought to be organized and managed as we set to optimize the experience of its citizens. Blockchain will play a key role in this vision as an enabler technology platform for the distributed apps of the future.

In just a few hours, we will guide you through:

1. The current state of cities, what the future of cities look like and the potential of a blockchain-based governance.
2. Aragon, the leading DAO in decentralized governance. Who they are, what they do, and where they’re heading.
3. The path to leadership in a blockchain future.
