Neo Moreton: Social entrepreneur | Founder and CEO of Urban OM in Stockholm, Sweden.

 
Neo Moreton is a results driven international social entrepreneur bent on passion, purpose and professionalism.  He is an ex businessman and current social entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and CEO of Urban OM whose aim is to play a pivotal role in raising human consciousness by providing urban oases for city dwellers to meet, connect and explore being together. 

Besides that he is Co-founder of Reach within whose aims is “ to improve the quality of life of children and teens who have experienced adversity by helping to improve their health and well-being through youth life skills building and a comprehensive approach to caregiver training to promote positive attachments between child and caregiver”.

He is also the creator and founder of The Golden Guru event that launched in 2012 and is now expanding internationally.

Neo holds a degree in law and is a graduate of Columbia Business School Institute for Not-for-Profit Management. Neo currently serves on the board and advisory board of several organizations

 

John O’Shea: Humanitarian | Founder and Former CEO of GOAL

 
John O’shea is  one of Ireland’s most celebrated humanitarian, advocate of the philosophy that Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity, it is an act of Justice.  He devoted 35 years to the world’s poor, and he is considered a hero by many influential people such as former Irish President Mary Robinson and humanitarian Bob Geldof.

He founded an agency called GOAL with which he helped raise 1 billion dollars to fund programs in over 50 countries throughout the world. He is seen as brave and straightforward being one of the first people to point out the institutionalized corruption in developing countries and how this can hinder the safe delivery of aids. Strong believer and supporter of Social Entrepreneurship.  

He won many awards, among which:
  • Ernst and Young “Social Entrepreneur of the Year” - 2005 (Inaugural award). 
  • Irish Voice Newspaper (USA) “Humanitarian of the Year” award – 2006.
  • Tipperary International Peace Award - 2005 (Previous winners include Mikhail Gorbachev, Bill Clinton and Nelson Mandela.).
