COO and co-founder of Spotahome, left his native Argentina at age 20, and since then has lived in four countries and done business in more than 15. Thanks to his extensive travels and love of languages, he's fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Danish. His eclectic professional experiences have given him a unique perspective on the business world. He worked as a chef in high pressure kitchens in Ireland and Denmark before starting his own jewellery import and wholesale business in Thailand, India, Italy and Spain. He then became sales director of a Spanish company in the food sector, where he led its international expansion and handled international logistics. When approached to join Spotahome, he saw an opportunity to change the way people think about property rentals and make the process easier for both landlords and tenants. Since then he has been working relentlessly with the rest of his team to make Spotahome the most efficient way to book housing in the world.

A Russian now living life to the fullest in Madrid, has been with us since event #001. Before becoming a Glowball, he dove head first into a variety of different disciplines including software development, studying some hard core math and teaching kids practical projects on C#. He also embarked on some business related projects, such as financial auditing at KPMG, management consulting in oil and gas and received a business degree from IE Business School.

Understanding is Alex’s true north. His day-to-day life is driven by asking questions…lots and lots of questions. As a Glowball, Alex looks after our product. He knows it by heart. Cuddles it. Argues with it. Distracts it while our engineering team buckles down to transform it for the better. These days Alex spends most of his time orchestrating the development team in an effort to help get the process right and deliver the most impactful and value adding innovations.

For Alex, and ideal evening with friends starts in a ballroom with some latin dancing followed by ginger lemon tea on a quite terrace with candles and mindful personal conversations. His main passion though, is driving...anything from bikes to cars and everything in between.

Alex is a CEO of DISCOPERI from the company's origination in 2016. Prior DISCOPERI he worked in his own business, tried himself in retail and investment banks, and McKinsey& Co. Alex was awarder as the winner of “The best blogger” competition hosted by Russian Venture Company (Moscow, Russia) in 2012 & 2013 (1st and 2nd places respectively).

Alex fluently speaks Russian, Ukrainian and English.
Alex is married and has a son.

Graduated from Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade in 2007 - MA in management, in 2006 – BA in management).
