IE Energy Club

Welcome to the IE Energy Club! Energy Club endeavors to bring together IE students that are passionate about the energy industry, from all realms including, but not limited to, renewables, gas & oil, smart grids, batteries, and more. We take a holistic approach to our discussions and ensure that we highlight sustainability at all levels.

The IE Energy Club has four types of structures that it offers to students:

1. Conferences & Panel Discussions: Learn directly from different speakers in an insightful, interactive manner about transformations within the energy sector. We aim to leave time for not only student questions but more personal networking time after each panel. 
2. Student-Lead Happy Hour Presentations: Each month, we invite one IE Energy Club member to give an energy-related presentation based on their passions, knowledge, and experience. This 15 to 20-minute presentation gives our members new insight as well as inspires healthy debate. All presentations are based around a happy hour, giving members a chance to network with one another. 
3. Company presentations: We invite companies to pitch us on a transformative innovation or structure within their company or sector for solo or dual presentations. We also schedule company visits to offices around Madrid.
