Alessandra is EVP, General Counsel and Business Affairs for HBO Europe. In her current role, she is responsible for a variety of legal and commercial matters relating to original production, distribution, content acquisition, regulatory and compliance, as well as expansion into new European markets. She oversees a team of 15 lawyers located across HBO’s European offices in Scandinavia, Central Europe and Spain. Based in Madrid, she is also acting as office head for HBO’s Spanish operations. Alessandra has worked at HBO for over 6 years, initially based in HBO headquarters in New York.
Prior to HBO, Alessandra was a mergers and acquisition lawyer in private practice in New York for over eight years. Alessandra has an LL.B. from the London School of Economics and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
