Jorge Gómez is a recognized expert in making sense of disruptive uncertainty, and in helping entrepreneurs and business leaders and their organizations: he demonstrates how you can be more systematic when it comes to identifying emerging business opportunities, inherent in technology and market ambiguity. Prof. Gómez has more than 20 years of executive experience and is a serial entrepreneur who has founded three successful startups, on three continents, in three different sectors; his startups received 16 international innovation awards, including the best technological solution from the European Space Agency. He currently works for Amazon Web Services as a senior manager of business development for the startup ecosystem in Spain.
Jorge is a Computer Science Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, completed the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School, and received the title of Global Executive MBA from IE Business School, where he teaches leadership, strategy and technology classes, and from which he received the award for teaching excellence.

Before working at AWS Javier spent 20 years developing software professionally and sharing what he learnt with the community. He has spoken at events in over 20 countries, mentored dozens of start-ups, and taught for 6 years at different universities, and trained hundreds of professionals on cloud and data engineering.
