Speaker Series: Iciar Mangas, Art Basel

The Arts & Business Club is inviting all art-lovers to its next speaker day. For this special event, we are thrilled to announce that Iciar S-Mangas from Art Basel as a speaker.

Art Basel's world-leading shows in Basel, Hong Kong, and Miami connect collectors, galleries, and artists, and are a driving force in supporting the role galleries play in nurturing the careers of artists. The recently launched Art Basel Cities initiative highlights local art scenes and facilitates international collaborations. The Art Basel publications The Art Market and the Art Market Principles and Best Practices are a commitment to increasing the transparency and accountability of the art market.

Iiniciar S-Mangas is an Art Historian and Independent Cultural Agent with almost 20 years of experience. She is specialized in VIPliasons, in addition, to matchmaking with multidirectional networking. Mrs. S-Mangas is focused on art projects that allow corporations as well as brands to map and position themselves in the international art market. Moreover, she advises and participates in the development of new skills and strategies to consolidate the brand into the international art ecosystem. Since 2007 Iniciar S-Mangas has been working for Art Basel and is representing the institution in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America as an Ambassador.
