We are very lucky to have a total of four speakers, three of whom are CAIA Chapter Executives (David Cienfuegos, Leonardo Lopez and Javier Espinosa) and with Puy Carazo, who recently obtained her CAIA certification.
David Cienfuegos, CAIA, is Head of Investment, Spain at Willis Towers Watson. He has 15 years of experience in asset management. His role is to advise Board of Trustees and Investment Committees of pension funds, foundations and family offices on implementation of best practices in investment governance, asset allocation, risk management and manager selection.
Leonardo López, CAIA, brings 15 years of industry experience, most of them dedicated to fund distribution (from traditional mutual funds and ETFs to liquid alternatives and smart beta strategies) among institutional clients in Iberia and Latam. Leonardo joined Source UK Ltd, a leading European ETF provider based in London, in 2014 as Executive Director and Head for Iberia
Javier Espinosa, CAIA, is Senior Portfolio Manager at Caixabank AM responsible for the selection and analysis of US equity funds and global sector in the Open Arquitechture department. He also manages Caixabank Bolsa Selección USA and Caixabank Selección Tendencias (five stars by MorningStar).
Puy Carazo, CAIA, is Head of Wealth Investment Advisory Spain at Deutsche Bank. She brings 20 years of experience in financial markets, primarily in Asset Management and Wealth Management. Puy is also a member of Funds People.
In addition, we strongly believe this is an excellent networking opportunity for IE students as the event will also be open to external attendants who are currently CAIA candidates.
