Chinese-Spanish Economic Cooperation Forum -Emerging Opportunities Under Belt and Road Initiative of China

The Belt and Road Initiative of China, announced by current President of the China Xi Jinping, is seen as a force to advance globalization and open trade and enhance cooperation among countries, mainly between Asia and Europe. It is important to understand its global impact, as well as the opportunities it brings to Chinese-Spanish economic cooperation, especially after the participation of Spanish Prime-Minister in the Belt and Road Forum held in Beijing.

IE China Club - representing Chinese community of the IE University - is planning to initiate a discussion of this topic by organizing "Chinese-Spanish Economic Cooperation Forum: Emerging Opportunities Under Belt and Road Initiative of China” It will be held in Madrid on 7th June (6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) at IE Business School, C/ Maria de Molina 11 (Aula Magna), Madrid, 28006, Spain. The event will be conducted in English and consists of a panel and networking session .

The inauguration will be done by the Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Spain and the Representative from IE University. The inauguration will be followed by discussion about Belt and Road Initiative of China and its importance on Chinese-Spanish economic relationship in various industry, such as finance, trade, investment, tourism, e-commerce etc.

Major executives and professional of various Spanish and Chinese companies, professors, students are attending the event. Your presence will make the event a grand success.
