In today’s marketplace, two paths are becoming more prominent in the career paths of Women In Technology: the corporate track and the entrepreneurship track. 
Come hear from women and men leaders who are creating waves in the tech industry. Speakers from SopraSteria, Inteligenz,Google, Mastercard, MTech, Conento, Datatons, R-Ladies Madrid, Telefonica, Alto Data Analytics, SAP, Nielsen and IE will share their views on the topic.
The moderator will be Teresa Ramos - Martin, Director of Technology and Innovation at IE University.

Emma has built a solid career in the technology field: she began working in the ICT sector for companies such as Alcatel and Telefónica and joined Indra in 1991. During her 20 years in Indra she held different managing positions with responsibilities over business and global corporate functions. She played a relevant role in the transformation of Indra from a small-cap to multinational, managing key intangible assets for this business: Strategy, M&A, Innovation and new offering development, Talent Management and Brand & Corporate Responsibility. From 2007 to 2015, as Talent, Innovation and Strategy Senior Executive Vice-President she was appointed member of the Executive Committee. Currently, Emma is using her experience to promote and advise technology start-ups. She is an independent director in the board of several listed companies in Spain and France, including Sopra Steria. Her advisory role ranges from robotics and aeronautical engineering to corporate strategy. Emma is very active in associations and initiatives that promote entrepreneurship and social development and women in leadership.

Cristina Aranda is Chief Marketing Officer at Intelygenz, a company dedicated to the development of agile and quality software with headquarters in Madrid and San Francisco. Cristina has more than 16 years of experience in marketing and digital transformation. She has collaborated with companies of the Ibex35 and Top500 and SMEs.
Cristina is also a co-founder of MujeresTech, a non-profit association whose aim is to promote initiatives to increase women's presence in the digital sector, and at the same time to establish ties with men willing to generate the same possibilities for female talent. Aranda is the Social Innovation Fellow of the Meridian Intl. Center and the US Embassy. In Madrid, member of the committee of Women Leaders of America and of the Committee of Experts of Technological-based Companies, Startups and Talent of the Community of Madrid. Cristina is passionate about applied linguistics. She holds a PhD in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics from UAM and IUI. Ortega y Gasset, graduated in Hispanic Philology from the UAM and has a Master in Internet Business from ISDI. He soon hopes to be a Scrum Master.

Paloma Real is responsible for enhancing the growth and development of business opportunities with current and potential clients, with special focus on partnerships with non-traditional clients and new partners in the financial industry, to promote the deployment of the new payment solutions between clients, merchants and consumers and accelerate the technological evolution of the digital world market. Paloma has spent a large part of her career dedicated to the design, definition and launch of financial and payment products for mobile. Along her career she hold different high-responsibility positions in the area of Payment Systems, Electronic Commerce and Financial Services of France Telecom (previously Amena and Auna Group), in Strategy and Development area. She has been always linked to mobile payments, she participated in the launch and development of Mobipay, global pioneer in mobile payment. María José Cantarino joined Telefonica in 1997, developing her career in areas focused at the international development of Telefonica. In 2005, she joined the department of Global Corporate Social Responsibility where she managed technical projects with special focus on ICT innovation, digital inclusion and new technologies and youth’s online behaviour. She also led European funded projects under the framework of the European programs FP7 and Horizon 2020 aimed at promoting social inclusion and improving youth employability and entrepreneurship through new technologies as the tools for change. Last year she joined the Telefónica Chief Data Office where she is the coordinator of the Program of Partnership with Universities and the Data Transparency Lab. She took a Bachelor Degree in “Langues étrangères appliquées” at the University Lille III (France), and two postgraduate degrees in Management and Business Administration at the University of Valenciennes (France) and in Telecommunication Business at the University of Catalonia (Spain).

His work and interests focus on how data analytics and technology can be harnessed to drive sustainable competitive advantage in corporations. He also works at the intersection of leadership and innovation: applying behavioral science to leading and driving change in organizations that face strong pressures to maintain the status quo. Overall, his professional mission is to help companies instill a culture of disruptive innovation and educate a next generation of young professionals able to draw on innovation methodologies to be leaders in their chosen areas of work.
Prior to pursuing a career at IE University, Dr. Gonzalez del Regueral worked at British Petroleum (BP) where he led global operations transformation projects, developed innovation strategies in the areas of human capital and systems implementation. Prior to BP, he worked at Iberdrola in its international expansion, post-merger integrations, and in regulatory strategy for the electricity and natural gas markets. He also founded and managed a technology-based startup focusing on energy efficiency in the Spanish market.
Dr. Gonzalez del Regueral holds a Ph.D. in Thermoeconomics from Polytechnic University of Madrid and was awarded the best PhD thesis by the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain. He also holds Masters degrees in the Electric Power Industry (Comillas Pontifical University), Chemical Engineering (Polytechnic University of Madrid) and Mining Engineering (Polytechnic University of Madrid) and an Executive MBA (IE Business School). His academic work has led to a patented novel energy generation process, a book on Exergy & Thermoeconomics and publications in several scientific journals.”
