Design Work Environments for the New Normal

We have all spent 4 – 6 months confined, working remotely. Even the most skeptic organizations have had to admit that their workforce is capable to be as productive and engaged as before and have kept their levels of productivity.

Now, as the situation doesn’t seem to be improving as fast as we would have wished for and we all start realizing that most changes are here to stay, we are all asking ourselves how the world will look like in the near future.

How necessary are new approaches, new ways of collaborating, new virtual tools, new management skills?

Should we do anything or wait? How dangerous is it to do nothing and wait?

How can space help trigger the desired changes? How relevant are Strategic Designers currently, providing many strategic design solutions that are hybrid, take care of the wellbeing of employees and are aware of the impact both on the business and the environment?
