Theoretical-practical workshop at Teatro Real de Madrid, that will show in real time how an opera is constructed through the Street Scene montage.

We will have 5 sessions that every student will have to attend in order to complete this workshop: 

Session 1.- Saturday, January 20. From 10:00 to 14:00 
*Technical spaces necessary for the development of an opera. The creation process
*Guided technical tour of the theater facilities.

Session 2.- Saturday, January 27. From 10:00 to 14:00 
*Brief history of the opera. Theater typologies.
*Evolution of the scenography. Scenographic and material elements.

Session 3.- Sunday, February 4. From 16:00 to 20:00
*Analysis of the scenography and costume design project.
*Rehearsal assistance.

February 10, 18:00. General rehearsal assistance Street Scene and meeting with the artistic team

Session 4.- Friday, February 16. From 17:00 to 20:00
*Analysis of the Street Scene general rehearsal
 - Dramaturgy / Staging / Costume design / Lighting design
 - Technical requirements, feasibility and adaptability
 - How to develop a storyboard
* Different answers to a same score. Comparative analysis of the Teatro Real production with other productions

Session 5.-Saturday, February 17. From 10:00 to 14:00
*Professional outputs linked to architecture within the theater.
*Presentation and final correction of personal projects.
*Bibliography and self-taught training.
