Speaker: Jordi Melendo
3ª Edition of Champagne Weekend and 3er attendace of such a remarkable individual, nonetheless Jordi Melendo is said to be Champagne Man in Spain -major expert, author of one of the best guides of Champagne.

He will open the event with a session exclusively dedicated to Champagne Rosé.
6 cuvees will be open, 6 products of a very different nature. Melendo will share his massive expertise with the attendants.


1pm. “Coteaux Champenois, the quiet wines of Champagne”
Speaker: Gildardo Conejo (Oenologist Champagne Geoffroy)
This young oenologist from Mexico will guide us through Coteaux Champenois: the historical yet nowadays on fashion quiet wines from Champagne. Few tasting encounters of this like have been launched in Spain so far. Attendants will not only have a closer approach to these wines' particularities but will also enjoy 6 different sub-regions to discover the essence of Terroir Champanoise.
Be aware: 6 incredible wines will be tasted.


The approaches tu such a unique menu of these delicatessen will be masterclassed by an expert while professional sommeliers, wine brand owners, hospitality professionals and wine-champagne lovers alike will attend.

The event is private yet will be open to a very limited number of IE students thanks to the agreement of IEU Arts Society with the organizer A la volé.

Creativity is by all means behind gastronomical projects and champagne ought not be left out so IEU Creativity Center Casa de la Moneda has offered to host this enterprise.
