Allison Rohe
Managing Director
IE Venture Lab
https://www.linkedin.com/in/allisonrohe/
Allison Rohe is the Director of IE's startup accelerator, Venture Lab and she is the Director of Area 31, IE's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub, where she works with teams who begin with little more than an idea. She guides teams to validate their assumptions and solutions to collect data that permits them to make a calculated decision to launch (or not). She is responsible for IE's Area 31 and fostering the entrepreneurial community; and, as Director of Venture Networks, she organizes and hosts weekly startup pitch slams in Area 31 every Thursday evening.
Allison is fluent in Spanish; holds a B.A. from Smith College (USA), a graduate degree in International Communications from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Master in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Universidad de Alcala; and in her scant spare time, she is pursuing a Master of Science in Education in Instructional Systems Technology, with a specialty in Learning Sciences, at Indiana University-Bloomington, which she began out of curiosity to design instruction that makes learning possible via scalable models.
