IE University is made up of five, world renowned, schools of knowledge. Our faculty comprise of exceptional individuals and upon sharing their knowledge with IE students, who graduate and apply their teachings, disrupt and evolve within their industries, they become the experts.

 

In our series of master classes, we have seen professors and guest speakers to lead discussions, however we will also be featuring our alumni.

 

In this edition, IE alumnus, Andrea Petrone and business partner Umberto Pieraccioni at sports4brands, develop company brands leveraging sport as an additional marketing channel,

fully ingrained in their business strategy.

 

Building an international brand is the core mission of any entrepreneur, business owner or CEO, there is little doubt about that.

 

Achieving this the goal however, is not simple. Some business leaders hold a traditional mind-set and are reluctant to explore new and innovative ways to getting there.

 

Sport is still an unknown and misunderstood marketing platform, engaging with a global audience thanks to its popularity and control on all media, especially digital.

 

Through powerful storytelling in sport, brands can engage with large audiences, shown they care and value the relationship with the fans.

 

In this masterclass, we will discuss why sport and sponsorship work and step-by-step guidelines to use and activate sport through all marketing levers to reach company objectives.
