Manoel Gadi
Professor Manoel Gadi is a computer scientist with an MSc in statistics and a MBA from IE Business School; he is a banking professional with experience in Strategic Planning (Portfolio Analysis and Business Intelligence), Credit and Risk Management and Modelling. He is currently the Corporate Rating Director for Bravo Capital. Bravo Capital is a non-banking lender for mid-cap Spanish companies. Previously Manoel has had the opportunity to work for Banco Santander in Brazil, the UK and in the Spanish Head Office.
Moving across Policy, Fraud Prevention, Portfolio Analysis and Analytics teams in three different institutions Citibank, C&A (the clothing company) and Santander bank and working for three different products (credit cards, personal loans and bank accounts) Manoel developed an interesting view of customers’ buying and paying behaviours.
In the academic scene, Manoel is a repeatedly invited speaker to conferences. He teaches data mining, business analytics and financial analytics workshops/lectures. He is the writer of several papers and articles in Corporate Finance, Business Analytics, and Big Data in Finance.
