IE Business School together with AESC, The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants, are partnering to host panel discussion on Getting on the Radar of Executive Search Firms.

The panel event will be moderated by Amber Wigmore Álvarez, Ph.D., IE Executive Director of Career Services. The panel will consist of AESC members who will speak to the audience about the current outlook and trends within the executive search industry.

This event is open for those who are interested in pursuing higher education, as well as to alumni and current students from IE Business School. Learn how to set up your career after graduation, or how to boost your current career path by understanding what the market is currently looking for.

The Executive Search Panel Discussion will be followed by a Networking Reception.

IE

Amber Wigmore Álvarez is the Executive Director of Career Services for IE Business School, IE Law School and IE University, where she manages a team of 25 people who deliver career services to 3,300 students and 50,000 alumni globally. She teaches management and careers classes to working professionals on a range of career topics including executive presence, personal branding, networking, CV & cover letter writing, interviewing, salary negotiation and onboarding.

In addition to her role at IE, as Co-Founder of Wigmore & Alvarez, Amber regularly conducts courses on “Intercultural Management” and “Doing Business in Spain” for foreign executives in Spain at major multinational companies. She is a PhD candidate at the Universidad de Córdoba (Spain) and holds an International MBA from IE, as well as a BA in Hispanic Studies and International Economics from Wheaton College.
