During this Master Class, Professor Daniel A. Abut will discuss the various chapters of his own 25-year Wall Street career, with the main goal of extracting valuable lessons that young professionals can apply in forging their own career paths. While doing so, Professor Abut will identify some of the most important career opportunities that young professionals can pursue in the broadly defined area of finance, as well as the aptitudes that they need to develop in order to best position themselves to capitalize on them. From different roles in the finance department of major corporations, to various positions in retail and commercial banks, to a gamut of possibilities in fully integrated investment banks, to attractive opportunities in investment and asset management, to enticing roles in multilateral organizations and government entities, Professor Abut will discuss a variety of finance-related jobs available in the marketplace (and the career paths they offer), focusing on the knowledge and skill base that they require for young professionals to be successful.

Daniel A. Abut
