The session will be 4 hours in 2 blocks: first to get into the mindset and understand how we can disrupt in a fast changing world and a second session to move to action to create a plan on how to change the world positively and ambitiously, using design thinking.
IE Associate Professor Balvinder Singh Powar & Partner/Director at BOOSTER Space Industries/AERDRON, will be holding this session to discuss why innovation at a personal and professional level are important for success. He will talk about his experience in the Commercial Aerospace sector and touch on aspects of his core specialist areas: Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Soft Skills/Attitude, Teambuilding and Conflict Management, to create an active, fun, lively and useful session where people can openly debate and test out various topics. His companies have developed their own Sub Orbital Space Platform and are also helping other companies with their cutting edge projects e.g. use of Innovative Vehicles/Drones (UAVs) for industrial applications, having won various important international prizes.
The session will be informative and participative with a final challenge to make positive and powerful change to a reality!

Currently, Balvinder is a Board Member and Director at BOOSTER Space Industries & AERDRON - have developed their own sub orbital space platform and are also helping other companies with their cutting edge projects e.g. use of innovative vehicles/drones (UAVs) for different applications.
He is an Associate Professor at IE Business School and a qualified and experienced trainer, giving sessions globally on Leadership, Team Management and Motivation, Innovation Culture, Mediation/Conflict Resolution Skills, Entrepreneurship and the New Commercial Space Industry.
