Service design is an activity of organising people, organisations, infrastructures and material components of a service in order to improve its quality and the interaction between service provider and customers. It combines business, branding, user experience design and technology. For this reason many companies are using service design to transform their organisational culture and to boost digital transformation.
In this interactive session IE lecturer and design strategist Aino Hanttu will give an introduction to service design and how it can be applied in different industries. She will talk about lean ways of creating services and facilitate hands-on exercises using some of the more basic service design tools
