Oktoberfest 2017

Join between six and seven million visitors who come together every year in the field known as Theresienwiese (Teresa's Meadow) for the celebration of the popular festival.

The Oktoberfest begins when after the arrival of the Wiesnwirte (owners of the breweries) escorted by horse carriages laden with beer barrels, the mayor opens the first barrel of beer and a parade of traditional costumes is performed.
