IE Business School, Madrid is pleased to invite you to a unique masterclass session on ‘Digital Transformation: How brands can build a content strategy to be more relevant’. This session will be facilitated by IE Professor, Carlota Garcia-Abril.

The digital era is the era of an empowered consumer, who has a level of access to information that was unthinkable in the past. The new ‘big 4 ‘ known as the GAFA (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple) for example, have built their business models around users and extract value from them instead of doing so from the classic portfolio of products and services. From a marketing perspective, brands can only remain relevant within this new model by using new digital platforms (social media, apps, etc.) and communications tools, in conjunction with creativity, data and technology, to create customer experiences that engage users and facilitates recommendation and content creation around the brand products.

With this in mind, this session seeks to explore how brands can become and stay relevant through digital strategy and highlight principles that can be adopted to drive a digital transformation objective.
