IE Business School in collaboration with African Communications Week, is pleased to invite you to the 1st African Communications Week Summit in Nigeria, with the theme, ‘The Role of Communicators in Africa’s Development’. This topical summit provides a venue to discuss a range of topics and issues vital to secure the future of communicators in Africa’s Development’ and examine areas of interest in the information and communication industry. Furthermore, there will be opportunities to meet and network with colleagues and share experiences as well as impart knowledge to others.

 

This summit will hold on May 25, 2017 in Lagos, Nigeria and in attendance will be thought leaders in corporate communications, public relations, brand strategy, and creatives from various African countries to discuss mutual challenges and share ideas on communications in Africa. There will be a panel discussion on the event theme and the panelists include: Yomi Owope – MD AOL-Lagos, Bolaji Alausa – Executive Creative Director, Noah’s Ark, Tokunbo George Taylor – M.D. Hill & Knowlton, and Tim Newbold – Director at Africa Practice. In addition, there will be a presentation on ‘Changing a Narrative through Social Media’ by IE Professor, Carlota Garcia.
