Abstract of Master Class:
Students and executives today receive spectacularly bad advice when it comes to rising in organizations. In his talk, Michael C. Wenderoth will draw from proven social science research and his coaching practice to challenge your conventional notions of what it “takes” to get ahead and rise to leadership positions. He offers a realpolitik view – providing examples that will challenge your cherished beliefs – and will offer a step by step approach with practical techniques and exercises that you can immediately put in practice. Anyone who wishes to accelerate their job search, climb up the organizational ladder - or increase their impact on society - will benefit from this thought provoking lecture. Those who focus on communication and perception will also leave with actionable takeaways.
