The outcome of the Brexit referendum caught the world, the EU and the City of London by surprise. Who might be the winners and losers from this historic decision? Will The City of London be able to maintain its preeminent place in European finance? If not, which places might benefit? What might be the impact of Brexit on sectors beyond finance?  What might Brexit and US election’s political repercussions? While no definitive answers to these questions are possible, this session will seek to provide background on Brexit and some “Watch lists” for participants to better anticipate this developing situation.

Dr. MILO JONES is a Visiting Professor at IE business school in Madrid. At IE, he teaches “Intelligence Tools for the Finance Professional”, advanced non-market strategy courses, and a variety of Geopolitics-related courses in the MBA and Masters in Advanced Finance programs. Milo is also a staff member of Wal-Mart's Leadership Academy, where he works with the retailer’s senior leadership on questions surrounding strategy, geopolitics and technology. In addition to Walmart, Milo’s experience in executive education extends to work with Axa, Accenture, Banco Santander, BHP Billiton, E&Y, Gestamp, Gulf Medical, Kimberly-Clark, Nikkei, Nissan, and Westpac Bank.
