On June 29th, IEOut, IE Business School’s LGBT club, is honored to host our 10th Annual LGBT@Work Conference during Madrid’s historic Pride Week.  For years, Madrid has celebrated the largest urban event in Europe and plays host to a great economic and social affair that transcends borders and turns Madrid into the city of diversity.

The top-ranked IE Business School invites professionals from diverse global backgrounds to create a truly international and welcoming learning experience.

IEOut Club’s LGBT@Work Conference welcomes top LGBT representatives from leading global companies to speak about the best practices on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.  

Our exciting group of speakers from McKinsey & Company, Amadeus, IBM, Nielsen and Iberia will provide a tremendous forum for our 10th anniversary.

Dennis is an Expert Partner in McKinsey & Company’s Organisation Practice. 100% of his work is focused on Organisation Transformation projects across the Financial Services, High Tech and Defense, Health Care and Private Equity Industries. Dennis is the global leader of McKinsey’s Diversity Practice and co-Leads McKinsey’s Management Matters collaboration with leading academics from the London School of Economics, Harvard Business School and Stanford Business School. Dennis convenes McKinsey’s Chief HR Officer roundtable, made up of the most senior HR professionals in the UK and leads the Chief HR Officer Masterclass, which helps prepare CHROs for the changing nature of the role and equips them to be the CEO’s strategic thought partner for their most important asset – their people. Dennis is also a leader of McKinsey’s global Risk Practice. Previously Dennis was a co-founder of McKinsey’s global Cyber Security Practice, a co-author of McKinsey’s perspective on managing organisational complexity and a founding member of McKinsey’s Internet Practice on the West Coast.
Dennis’ work on the intersection of management practices and performance transformation is widely cited, including Management Matters in Healthcare (which showed the correlation between specific management practices in hospitals and mortality rates and was highlighted by more than 40 leading global publications including The Economist) and Diversity Matters (which showed the positive relationship between ethnic and gender diversity and financial performance).

Jean-Louis leads the Amadeus Customer Service (ACS) team. He is responsible for
enabling customer loyalty by increasing product adoption via the services provided, and by relaying the voice of the customer back into the Amadeus organisation.

ACS delivers, from 15 global locations, a range of standard to customisable services to airlines, providers, and travel agency customers: Support Services, Learning Services, Content Management, Systems Security, Automation & Analysis, and Service Marketing.

Prior to this role, Jean-Louis has held several positions including COO Millennium Foundation, General Manager Amadeus France, Regional Manager Product Market Management, and Director Business Solutions Management.

Gary Kildare is an energetic and progressive business leader who has worked around the world and has over 30 years of international experience. Originally from Falkirk, Scotland, he joined the IBM Corporation in the UK. He has deep experience of transformation, acquisitions, change management, leadership and enterprise risk management. Having spent many years outside the UK - he returned in 2005 as Chief HR Officer for Global Business Services for Europe (IBM's fastest growing consulting services organisation), in 2008 he became Global Vice President of HR for Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific with accountability for over 430,000 employees worldwide. In February 2012 he was appointed as Chief HR Officer for Global Technology Services Division, based in New York; and in May 2014, he became Chief HR Officer IBM Europe, based in Madrid.

Gary is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a GlobalScot and sits on the Criticaleye Advisory Board. He has served as a Non-Executive Director of Education Scotland, as a member of the Scottish Government’s Education study – ‘The Curriculum for Excellence’, a Non-Executive Director of the National Skills Academy (Financial Services), a Non-Executive advisor to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and a member of the People Committee and the Pay Review Committee; a member of the CBI business council for Scotland. He received an honorary doctorate from Edinburgh Napier University in June 2012.

Beatriz works as a Program Manager on the technology team in Nielsen, managing Mirrow, an image recognition and manual collection project that allows sales representatives to collect key performance data in the point of sale. With a background in Law and Business, Beatriz has more than 10 years of professional experience in diverse fields, from finance to cooperation and work on non-governmental organizations. She joined Nielsen 2 years ago, where she proactively collaborates within the Diversity initiatives of Women in Nielsen and PRIDE groups.

Gemma has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus in the positioning and development of brands, in distinct sectors and markets, domestically and internationally. Throughout her career she has managed brands such as Movistar, Telefónica, Cortefiel, Travel Club, Ford, BMW, J&B, from the client and agent side. She currently works at Iberia where she is Head of Brand, Advertisement & Sponsorship.
